W.L. Weller CYPB Bourbon - 750ml

Weller CYPB Bourbon was created in response to the enthusiasm of more than 100,000 fans who completed Buffalo Trace’s interactive experience, Craft Your Perfect Bourbon. This educational experience, launched in November 2015, let fans design their ideal bourbon by selecting the mash bill (recipe), warehouse placement, age, and proof. The results consistently pointed toward a wheated bourbon profile aged around eight years, with a strong preference for top-floor warehouse storage and a proof ranging from 90 to 99. In response to these insights, Buffalo Trace developed CYPB as a tribute to those preferences, packaging it as a limited-edition Kentucky straight bourbon. The product is crafted to embody a wheated backbone, balanced by the smooth character typical of Weller offerings, and presented in a format that honors the interactive spirit of the original experience.

CYPB stands as a single batch release, with one batch issued each year beginning in the summer of 2018. Each annual release is treated as a collector’s edition, reflecting the unique blend and proof chosen to align with the Craft Your Perfect Bourbon concept while maintaining the Weller tradition of quality and consistency. The result is a distinctive, small-batch bourbon that appeals to enthusiasts who value both the story behind the project and the drink’s refined, approachable profile.
