Tenjaku Whisky Pure Malt is rich and polished, with a slightly bitter and soft taste. A dense harmony created through the weaving together of pure whiskies of various ages. The gentle union of flavors and a mellowness found only in a pure malt whisky. Delicate yet complex aromas and flavors open up, dancing smoothly in the mouth.
NOSE: Nutty, with hints of green apple and fresh herbs. Richly rounded with only a slight smokiness.
PALATE: A crisp alcoholic presence, solid, yet delicate and smooth in the mouth.
FINISH: Refreshing and clear aftertaste with a long finish. Vanilla notes give way to understated woody flavors that linger in the mouth.
Tenjaku is created in the city of Fuefuki, located in the eastern part of the Kofu Basin in Yamanashi Prefecture. This fertile land encircled by soaring peaks, with the Chichibu mountains rising to the north and the Misaka range to the south, is renowned as Japan’s top peach and grape-producing region. Looking towards Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps, it is a place blessed with boundless nature, with verdant forests, beautiful orchards, hot springs, and crystal clear streams.
