Product Description

Produced on the high-altitude slopes of Mount Etna, Nerello Mascalese 2019 by Elisa Trovato reflects the deep relationship between the volcanic terroir and winemaking traditions. Hand-harvested from 3 hectares of volcanic soils, the grapes undergo 15-day maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeasts.

The wine is aged for 12 months in used Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 12 months in the bottle, resulting in a complex, elegant red with the distinct character of its unique environment.
