Ichiro's Malt & Grain is the flagship "World Blended Whisky" from Chichibu Distillery, hand-blended by founder and master distiller Ichiro Akuto using stocks distilled at Chichibu alongside malt and grain whiskies sourced from around the world and aged in their countries of origin before spending time at Chichibu. It's the entry point into the Ichiro's Malt lineup and one of the most recognizable bottles in Japanese whisky, thanks to its playing-card inspired label.
Bottled at 46.5% ABV and non-chill filtered, this blend opens with aromas of honeycomb, French toast, espresso, and creamy malt, moving into flavors of milk coffee, caramel, black pepper, gingerbread, and dried apricot. It's rounder and more approachable than Chichibu's single malts while still carrying real depth and complexity.
