The agave used for Fuenteseca Cosecha 2018 Huerta Singular Blanco was harvested from a single, carefully selected orchard during the 2018 growing season, a year marked by measured maturation and balanced climatic conditions in the highlands of Jalisco. Cultivated at elevation and allowed to reach full physiological maturity, the agave expresses a concentrated yet elegant sugar profile, shaped by the soil, altitude, and seasonal rhythms of the site. Rather than blending across fields or harvests, this release isolates one huerta to preserve its distinct agricultural character.
Distilled with precision and bottled without aging, this blanco is intentionally left unadorned, allowing the raw structure of the agave to speak clearly. On the palate, it shows cooked agave, fresh herbs, citrus peel, and a subtle mineral edge, carried by a supple texture and restrained intensity. The absence of wood highlights clarity and balance rather than power, resulting in a tequila of quiet confidence and transparency. This is a focused, terroir-driven expression that reflects both the discipline of its production and the singular identity of its origin.
