Product Description

Wild Common was founded by National Geographic photographer Andy Bardon in partnership with Master Distiller Don Salvador "Chava" Rosales and his sons at the historic Cascahuín distillery (NOM 1123) in El Arenal, Jalisco. Built around the brand's guiding philosophy — "Nothing added, nothing lost" — Wild Common is a genuine 100% Blue Weber agave tequila crafted without any additives: no glycerin, no coloring, no flavor enhancers. The agave is sourced from both the highlands and the valley around El Arenal, slow-cooked in traditional stone-clay ovens, and processed as a blend of tahona-crushed and roller-milled distillate before double distillation.

This Añejo expression rests 14 months in ex-bourbon barrels. On the nose, expect aggressive vanilla layered over herbal agave, pickled and fresh jalapeño, torched rosemary, white pepper, and torched orange peel. The palate opens with heavy vanilla and milk chocolate that moves into Nutella and almond-butter creaminess with a touch of pastry cream, before swinging back to bright green herbal notes — jalapeño, green onion, and rosemary. The finish is full-bodied and warming, with the tequila's 47% ABV (94 proof) lingering long after the last sip.

Sip Wild Common Añejo neat or over a single large ice cube to let the barrel notes fully open up, or use it as the backbone of an elevated Old Fashioned for a tequila-forward twist on the classic.
