Product Description

Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Arrow Tin is a limited-edition gift presentation from the Maison Veuve Clicquot in Reims, in the heart of the Champagne appellation of northeastern France, where the house has operated continuously since 1772. The Arrow tin series was conceived as a celebration of travel and destination, with each edition bearing the name of a specific city alongside the precise distance between that location and the Maison's legendary cellars in Reims — in this case, Santa Monica, California. The collectible tin, produced entirely without plastic, houses the house's iconic Brut Yellow Label, the flagship non-vintage cuvée that has defined Veuve Clicquot's style for generations and remains one of the most recognized Champagnes in the world.

Brut Yellow Label is assembled from a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay sourced from vineyards across the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs — three sub-regions whose contrasting chalk and clay soils, exposures, and microclimates provide the raw material diversity that Chef de Cave Didier Mariotti draws upon to maintain a consistent house style across vintages. The predominance of Pinot Noir provides the structural backbone and body that is characteristic of the Clicquot signature, while Pinot Meunier contributes roundness and fruit, and Chardonnay adds the elegance and lifted acidity that balances the blend. Reserve wines from previous years, aged in the Maison's cellars in Reims, are incorporated into each assemblage to provide continuity of style and additional complexity.

The nose is immediately pleasing — fresh fruit, brioche, and vanilla open into more subtle aromas of nectarine and light toast that develop with time in the glass. On the palate, the wine is balanced and full, with apple, pear, and citrus fruit moving through a mid-palate of toasty richness underpinned by the fine, persistent mousse that extended lees aging produces. The finish is smooth and lively, with structure and length that reflect the Pinot Noir-dominant blend. The Arrow tin transforms the bottle into a keepsake connecting Santa Monica to the Champagne region across a distance printed on the tin itself — part gift, part collectible, and entirely Clicquot.
