It has been roughly a century since the Jack Daniel Distillery released a whiskey aged 10 years or longer. In redefining our approach to age, Jack Daniel’s has evolved beyond the traditional age-stated process. These Tennessee Whiskey barrels have spent time aging in the Buzzard’s Roost of our barrelhouse, then methodically relocated to the lower floors of different barrel houses to extend aging for the last 10 summers. The extreme weather variations encountered at these varied locations inside the barrel houses, combined with the longevity of our handmade oak barrels, contribute to an intense, singular character in Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. Each barrel movement and every environmental shift over the years have shaped a depth and complexity that only this deliberate, patient approach can yield.

This whiskey carries a decade of maturation, during which time the oak has imparted a robust structure and a refined, balanced profile that rewards careful sipping.
