Sipsy

La Bicicleta Voladora is a modern expression of Rioja that reflects minimal-intervention and vibrant freshness. Crafted by Quinta Milu, this organic and vegan Tempranillo (with a hint of Viura) comes from 20–35-year-old vines planted in deep clay-limestone soils of Rioja Baja. Fermented with native yeasts at cold temperatures, then given a slight maceration before fermentation concludes, this wine matures for eight months in concrete, amphora, and flex tanks—completely unoaked and expressive. Expect a luminous medium ruby hue in the glass, unfolding aromas of red berries—think red currant and blackberry—with lightly spiced undertones and a delicate herbaceous lift. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, with lively acidity, smooth texture, and a clean, invigorating finish that's unapologetically Rioja—bright, balanced, and utterly drinkable.
