INSÓLITO Añejo is aged 18–24 months in new American oak barrels at the highest altitude distillery in Mexico. The blend of highland and lowland agave, combined with an extended maturation, yields a tequila with a satin, complex profile. On the nose, warm cacao, prunes, and toasted nuts mingle with delicate floral notes and hints of cinnamon. On the palate, there is a rich, velvety texture; flavors of dark chocolate, dried fruit, toasted almond, and caramelized spice unfold, balanced by a gentle char from the new oak and a mineral brightness from the agave terroir. The finish is long and luxurious, with lingering cinnamon spice, cocoa, and a soft, toasted note that invites another sip.
We recommend enjoying it neat or straight to appreciate its full character, or as a refined Old Fashioned where the spirit’s sweetness and spice are allowed to shine against building bitters and citrus oils.
