Tequila Don Julio Reposado Private Cask is a limited edition barrel program where a select number of single cask barrels have been hand-selected and aged for 10 months. That is two more months than traditional Reposado, resulting in a rich and nuanced flavor that varies from barrel to barrel. It also has a higher proof than the standard edition, coming in at 85.4 proof (vs. 80 proof). Since Reposado was the first variant that Don Julio González distilled under his name, the Tequila Don Julio Reposado Private Cask program pays homage to the variant by providing tequila aficionados with a limited-edition aged Reposado never before sold.
