Product Description

Sacha Lichine was born in Bordeaux and the love of wine is in his blood. He began working in the wine industry on the family estate and has gone through all the stages in the production and marketing of a wine: from the vineyard to sales. He also worked as a sommelier in a well-known restaurant in Boston (United States).
Sacha knew that rosé wines had great potential, so in 2006, he acquired Château d’Esclans with the aim of creating the best rosés in the world.
Château d’Esclans is an idyllic property in the heart of ProvenceChâteau d’Esclans The Pale Rosé is made here, from grapes sourced from the best vineyards in the Var region and which embodies all the characteristics we expect from a Provençal rosé.
To make Château d’Esclans The Pale Rosé, the grapes are harvested at night. Avoiding the heat of the day ensures that the harvest arrives fresh at the winery and the grapes retain their best properties. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures and is aged on its lees, which add texture and complexity to the wine.
Château d’Esclans The Pale Rosé is a wine made for those who like sophisticated rosé wines. A premium style yet accessible rosé, that has the quality backing of the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) group, who currently own 55% of Château d’Esclans and with whom Sacha Lichine works closely to continue to position himself as the driving force behind the renaissance of rosé wines.
