El Tequila de Don Pilar is crafted in small batches at our distillery in the Jaliscan Highlands. Don Pilar Extra Añejo is a most extraordinary tequila. Intense, with velvet richness, sweet oak aroma, and a deep, amber-crimson color.
40 MONTHS OF DOUBLE-CASK AGING
Don Pilar’s Extra Añejo is aged in new American White Oak barrels for 36 months. Leopoldo and Gabriel—our master distillers—add a final, masterly stroke and finish aging it for an additonal four months in French Limousin Oak casks to impart a luscious fruity finish.
HAND-SIGNED, LIMITED-EDITION BOTTLING
To commemorate the uniqueness of this Extra Añejo, every bottle was individually numbered and hand-signed by Don Pilar.
