Puro Potro is one of the few in expensive and authentically made blanco’s out there that’s certified additive free. This easy drinking agave forward blanco doesn’t hide behind sweeteners and flavorings, instead just offers clean agave driven flavor. Made at NOM 1514 in the Degollado Valley. The highland agave are harvested between 6-8 years of age at an altitude of between 1700-1800 meters. Cooked steel autolaves for up to 16 hours before crushing on roller mills. Fermented in stainless steel with Potro’s proprietary yeast for up 72-80 hours before double distillation on stainless with copper coils. Bottled at 42%, it packs a lot of character into the frosted bottle. Potro means Colt in Spanish, but this baby doesn’t kick.
